A connected home or office is a digital infrastructure enhanced by the power of the Internet -- enabling intelligent, integrated devices to work in unison.
We're all living increasingly connected lives; the line between computers, the Internet, and entertainment systems have blurred. We can help you take advantage of this continuing convergence, which makes it possible to perform computing activities wherever there is a screen -- on your wall, on your desk, on your lap, in your car, or in your pocket.
First and foremost, we're Apple experts; we've been supporting Macintosh users since 1987. We love Macs and iPhones, and are Apple-certified to support you whether you need help setting up a new system, utilizing an existing one, or integrating audio and video into your current computing environment.
We also know Windows. We've been supporting Windows users since 1995, and are Microsoft-certified. Windows XP has been a standard for non-Apple systems since the beginning of the decade; Microsoft now has Windows 7 ready to go, bringing the Windows experience up-to-date for the next decade. We can help you integrate Windows on your Apple hardware, support you with the best security software, and make sure that your system is working properly with your peripherals and media devices.
We can also help set up a home entertainment system that takes advantage of the latest in integrated technology. Audio/video components kept in an entertainment center, with exposed wires and numerous remote controls, is no longer the standard. We recommend a more minimalist approach; system components such as a receiver, an iPod dock, a cable or satellite box, and a Blu-Ray or DVD player can be stored in a closet (or other centralized location) and controlled by a single handheld or wall-mounted remote control -- or even an iPhone.
Although the best sound typically comes from floor-standing, cabinet, or bookshelf speakers, many in-wall or in-ceiling speakers provide very good sound while blending in to your surroundings. Whether you choose stereo or five-, seven-, or nine-channel surround sound, we can help design a system that makes your music, TV, and movies come alive to immerse you in the experience.
We can also help you do something as simple as organizing your library of music or inspirational audio tracks with an iPod or other digital music player. Keeping your audio content fresh, topical, and interesting is easy when your music library is online.
Our technology integration skills allow us to assemble solutions from a variety of providers -- or we can handle the entire turnkey system, from design to installation to training.
